Lubrication and Purging of the oil after procedure and before sterilization is very important. Protecting your bearings and o-rings before the heat stress of sterilization will prolong Turbine life and keep your Handpieces running longer!
Having adequate Handpieces is also very important, we recommend 3 Handpieces(High and Slow speed) per Operatory to ensure that each one is not overused.
Cheating(Extending the bur) or not properly setting the bur into the Turbine can lead to premature failure. Always ensure that the bur is set entirely into the chuck for proper retention and Turbine longevity.
When handling Handpieces be careful not to drop or toss them around, especially after they are removed from sterilization. Improper care can lead to bearing failure, dents and damage to Handpiece Body, broken Fiber Optics and lots more.
